SJM Concerts Present Fatboy Slim A Free Concert for NHS and Blue Light (Ambulance, Police and Fire Service) Staff

DJ Fatboy Slim aka Norman Cook has announced a special free concert in his home town of Brighton for frontline staff from the NHS, Ambulance and Police workers involved in the Coronavirus Pandemic. The gig will take place on Wednesday October 28th 2020 at the city’s largest venue – The Brighton Centre.

 Speaking from his home in Hove Norman said;

“Recently, friends of mine who work in the NHS asked me to send a little video message to thank and cheer on the frontline troops and in it I, (half) jokingly said, we should all have a big party together when this is all over’.

Careful what you wish for, as so many people responded to the comment, I thought, ‘why not?’

“By the time life returns to normal we will all want to celebrate together and, I would like to do my bit to reward and thank everyone who has been holding our lives together in these most difficult of times”.

He continued, “So I extend an invitation to all NHS doctors, nurses, support workers, porters and cleaners plus blue light staff, ambulance, police and fire service (and importantly to their plus ones) to let their hair down with me and dance off the cobwebs to rejoice in the end of this emergency”.

Tickets will be available from 7pm on Friday 17th April 2020 and are only available to purchase via Ticketmaster online via this link: https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/1F00588F94618F25

Please do not come to the Brighton Centre Box Office, the venue is currently closed. Please see information on how to contact us here: https://brightoncentre.co.uk/news/2020-1/covid-19/

If you have an access requirement and cannot purchase online (for example, you are a wheelchair user or have limited mobility) please call our Access Line (01273 292695) from 7pm on Friday and leave a voice message including your name, return telephone number and a brief description of your requirement (for example, you need a wheelchair user space + 1 or a seat with no steps + 1). Please only leave one message. We will then process these messages and allocate tickets in the order in which the messages were received, we will then call customers back on the number left in the voice message. To allow the team time to process the enquiries return calls will be made between 8pm and 9pm on Friday and again on Saturday after 10am and before 4pm.
