Casual Venue Steward

As a Venue Steward, you are the face of the Brighton Centre. You will be the very first point of contact for our visitors, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.

Your day-to-day will include:

Visitor Excellence: Welcoming guests and helping them navigate our various seating layouts to find their specific spots easily.
Crowd Management: Safely and efficiently directing crowds during busy concerts, conferences, and exhibitions.
Accessibility Support: Assisting visitors with special access requirements, ensuring a seamless and inclusive experience for everyone.
Safety & Security: Monitoring key exits during event setups and breakdowns and confidently assisting Venue Managers with emergency evacuations (full training provided).
Ticketing: Checking and scanning customer ticket barcodes on entry to the venue during events

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse range of people.
A reliable team player who can also take the initiative and work independently (18+).
A flexible approach to working hours to match our exciting event schedule.
