Events Officer
The post of Event Officer will be required to support the Operations Department in the day-to-day management and delivery of the Brighton Centre’s annual events programme; amounting to an average of 255 occupied event days, welcoming 250,000 leisure customers, 50,000 conference delegates and managing 125 client accounts, by acting as the on-ground Duty Manager and main contact for all client and customer queries on event days and to undertake administrative tasks and lead on project work as directed by the Operations Manager.
The position of Event Officer is a fast paced and dynamic role with a requirement of high levels of attention to detail, interacting with external organisations and businesses on a domestic and international stage and directly with our customers. The post-holder needs to be able to think quickly and effectively about building management and logistics in terms of event delivery and venue safety, to deliver excellence in customer satisfaction and a safe environment.
The post holder will manage the pool of front-of-house casual staff including shift and uniform allocation, disseminating information and booking training.
