Why do you use Single Use Plastic Cups? Why aren’t you using paper / compostable cups / reusable cups?

A large amount of research has been undertaken into our options around the cups we use and we have to take into account that they need to be crushable underfoot.

We have looked into our options around paper and compostables but considering the waste disposal and recycling facilities in the local area we currently feel that the plastic cups used are the best option as they can be, and are, recycled.

We are currently looking into our options around reusable cups. Before launching this we want to ensure that they are safe to use in areas like our balconies where there are steep steps and that we are able to clean them onsite, rather than having to transport them outside of the local area which would create a counterproductive situation by the production of vehicle emissions.
