Netball Super League
London Mavericks are heading to the Brighton Centre for a first-ever Netball Super League showdown on the south coast!
On Sunday 6th April 2025, the London Mavericks will bring the high-octane action of the Netball Super League (NSL) to the Brighton Centre for the very first time, when they take on the Birmingham Panthers (Centre Pass at 4pm).
This will provide one of the first opportunities for netball fans to see two of the NSL’s new teams in action following the League’s relaunch.
In 2025, the Netball Super League will embark on a new era of professionalisation in which it has committed to hosting 50% of NSL matches at arena venues to increase attendances, welcome new fans to the sport and grow the game nationwide. London Mavericks are thrilled to add the Brighton Centre to their match day locations as part of their drive to make their NSL games accessible to as many netball communities as possible.
The Brighton Centre fixture will bring NSL action to fans in the south of England who may not otherwise have had an opportunity to experience a live game.
Mikki Austin, Assistant Coach for the London Mavericks, and former Surrey Storm Head Coach said: “I’m beyond excited that London Mavericks will be playing in the South. After the end of Surrey Storm within the Netball Super League, it’s so important to be able to bring a game to the Brighton Centre and to fans within the south region who are currently trying to figure out their travel plans to get to watch a live NSL match."
Camilla Buchanan, Head Coach for the London Mavericks, added: "We couldn’t be more excited to bring netball to the Brighton Centre. Who wouldn’t want to experience world-class netball just a stone's throw from the beach? Our vision has always been to reach more communities, and this is a fantastic opportunity for fans to see us compete on a huge stage with an incredible crowd, and to bring netball to the wonderful South. We can't wait to make it unforgettable!"
